If people are truly honest with themselves they will at least to themselves reveal that they have told "white lies". Small lies IMO if told can really hurt someone. As long as you are not a complete liar it is OK to hold back a few secrets. As human we err and humans tell lies, you too and me too and even them as well.

There are never really any good lies as they always do find their way back to you at some point. A little white lie well we do all use them either to protect our self's or others from some sad dead or we have used them to cover up a surprise. I say use them very wisely and never tell any one not even your best friend. A moment of weakness could be the moment of dread if leaks out!

Not unless you are planning a surprise party!
Really, a lie is a lie. There are not any good lies.
Do you realise there are lies of omission? Not telling things can be telling a lie. It will almost always be found out in the long run, too.

It would depend on what the "white lie" was. If your gf asked you if her butt looked fat in the jeans she was wearing, you bet your *** you better tell her yes, even if it is a white lie.
But if this "white lie" is told to get you out of hot water, such as cheating, or doing something your gf/bf asked you not to...then it is best to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

yeah... because sometimes even if a situation isn't that serious our partner might still take it seriously and freak out or something... so you sometimes have to lie...everyone does it, it's not a big deal... you protect your partner from getting hurt when you 'white lie'...

Its not only ok, its essential. ie: No, you don't look fat., I love the present., I'm not mad., You look beautiful., what a beautiful baby!!! A white lie is a lie that doesn't hurt anyone, it makes someone feel good.

Our heads are full of lies all day and night long.
Imagine what life would be like if all thoughts in our heads where out there for everyone to hear no matter what kind of relationship.

Lies always require more lies. It isn't too long before a white one is a gritty shade of gray.
