Depends on how badly chipped. Could just polish it smooth or it could need a cap, of if it is chipped into the pulp, you could need a root canal and crown.

If it's a small enough chip they sometimes smooth it off but if it's bigger they will get a slight undercut, acid etch it and use a composite of the same shade as your tooth and repair it that way. If it's really big, they will drill a small gold pin into the tooth for added strength then fill and shape it. If it's dangerously close to the nerve they may want to crown it to protect it. Good luck...

Don't worry when he goes to his dentist they will use white filler to shape a cap for the tooth mold it and shade it will take 5 min and as long as there is 11% of a tooth left they can rebuild it they don't need the missing bit will do it while he is not asleep Veneers are only a option for big teeth and they will only allow veneers if they cant rebuild the tooth but to be honest dentist now can preform amazing teeth with the new tooth whiting lasers and fast drying filler veneers are so last season. i had my front tooth done when i was 14 and now veneer taken out now im 27 and my own tooth has been rebuilt that was under my veneers perfect so don't worry

Very easily. Go to the dentist. He/she will grind your tooth a little and then add some stuff to match the color and shape of your other front tooth and you'll never know you had a chip. It doesn't hurt and it might cost about $125.

Depends on how bad it is: small chip can be smoothed off. Larger chip can be fixed with either a tooth colored filling called a composite or if there's pain, you could need a Root Canal and Crown, Crown, or Root Canal, Post and Build up and Crown.

They will repair it in the same way a filling would be done. First they will rough up the tooth so the composite will adhere to the tooth surface. It shouldn't be too painful, good luck!

SEE YOUR DENTIST AND FIND OUT WHAT ARE YOUR CHOICES ARE AND WHY. THE CHIP MAY BE SMALL AND SOMETHING LIKE AN RESHAPING MIGHT SOLVE THE PROBLEM. FOR A LARGER CHIP A COMPOSIDE OR VENEER. IF THE CHIP GOES ARE FAR AS THE NERVE, A ROOT CANAL AND CROWN MAY BE NEEDED.

I agree with Becky J. I had this happen to me and that is exactly what the dentist did to fix the tooth. It looks good and has lasted several years with no problems. Good luck to you.

Go to your dentist, they will shave it down evenly, place an almost glue-y substance and shape it to be similar to your opposite tooth. they will also use a dental "paint" to color it as your other teeth are collored.
