Microsoft Word is always my go to for most documents. It has a whole bunch of templates for many different document types including invitations. There are other pieces of software out there and I'm not sure as to their functionality.

It's easiest to use Microsoft Publisher. But there are other available software such as Printshop and Hallmark Greetings Workshop.

Microsoft Word is good. you can goto templates.microsoft.com and you may find some good invitation templates too.

Any word program will do. The site I have put below will give you an idea of what to do with most word programs.
