If an illegal steals your job, then what kind of person are you?

I hear too often the "illegals steal our jobs" statements. Think about that, illegals work mainly hard labor, long hours, low paying jobs, if that's the job they stole from you, if that's who you compare your life to, then maybe it is you who has the issues. I have never seen an illegal take any of my jobs, only outsourcing, if they steal your job, then you may need to get an education to raise yourself above the comparison of an illegal.

I understand those who answered that they work for less money and all that, but then it's not their fault, it's the fault of those who hire them, so why don't you hate them instead of the illegals, besides if there weren't so many low lifes willing to pay under the table to save some money, maybe the illegals wouldn't come to this country don't you think?

The illegal only takes the jobs of this country's most venerable citizens. The under educated,the unskilled,but he also is taking the building trades jobs he doesn't take the better paying jobs because he is more qualified.He gets the job only because he will do it for far less money that the legal citizen.That's unfair competition.
The illegal will also live differently that the legal citizen will.
I own a business and no one can take my job,or the jobs of the people I employ.I don't need to save money,I need quality people that know their jobs and do them well.I don't mind paying top dollar for top employees.Here in Arizona you can get illegals to work for $ 20. a day.
I would be ashamed if I ever paid anyone 20 bucks for an 8 hour day. The building trades,are hiring illegals every day.Those company's don't care about quality they just want to hire bodies.It is a problem in the building trades.Try to look at it from the contractors point of view .He doesn't care about anything but the bottom line.So he fires the legal worker and hires 2 or 3 illegals in his place and still saves money.Its real and its happening every day.

some people have made mistakes in their past so they don't have a college degree. Some people don't have the same kind of oppertunities as well educated people. 10 years ago there were planty of good paying jobs in my area. Now they have all either closed or lowered their pay sinse they had planty of cheap labor to fill those jobs. Let me ask you this about cheap labor. Do the things you buy such as socks, carpet, food, or anything made in a plant here in the US cost anyless than what they did 10 years ago? No cheap labor is not lowering prices. Cheap labor is only lowering wages of the middle class and filling the pockets of buisness owners and politicians. What buisness owner wouldn't want to double his profits buy hiring an illegal allien who will do the same job for half what they were paying. I know others will say "oh the government wouldn't let them do that" but all they have to do is quit paying any raises. It has taken 10 years but now with out 10 years of raises these jobs have become the same pay as minumum wage. Yes this has happend and is happening. Illegals can do these jobs for that kind of pay because they will live with 3 familes in a 2 bed room mobile home. This is wrong for us to allow employers to do this to anyone. I've seen this while delivering appliances at a job I used to work. If we deport all illegals then we will force these employers to pay decent wages. Then america will be back on track and in 10 years maybe we will be able to help all of these nations who need help. We can't do it with the way things are going but in the future maybe we can if we are let to improve our own country and take care of all the problems we have here now.

First, I have personally seen immigrants receive the benifit of the doubt and a promotion as well, strictly due to the fact that they were a minority. Not once or twice, but at least 3 times in my life!

Yes, some of this was due to government intervention. But realize that some of these folk could barely read or write!

And as to their "Low" wages - do your homework! The average immigrant worker earns between $10 - $12 per hour. They also live with an average of 3 - 5 others in the same home! Thus, cutting their expenses greatly.

I do not have a problem with anyone coming here legally. They are more than welcome! But I live in a city of nearly 250,000 people and it is the illegals who are robbing the rest of us blind. They are behind much of the drugs and prostitution in my city.

As to an edumacation, been there and done that. (Intentional miss-spelling).

Hey, you want to live and work here? Fine! But do it legally like other folk have done. It really isn't that difficult! There are a great many citizens of the USA who are willing to help you, often at no cost to you. Just be willing to try!

Well lets Just see Carpentry work USE!!!!!!! To Pay pretty good money. A Professional carpenter could get 20 to 25 dollars an hour. Can't any more!!!!!! Warehouse work, Hard Yes. Use to Pay pretty good Money 15 to 18 dollars an hour. Not any MORE!!!!!!!!! Construction: Use to pay Good Money. Not any more. As far as Education goes. GUESS WHAT. Some people have less of an IQ than you.

Some people have less education than you. Maybe their parents died and they were supporting their siblings. Maybe they like farm work.

You should be grateful that someone picks up your trash, picks your tomatoes, and milks the cows.

The problem is that a Mexican is willing to do it for so much less, and under the table too, so the farmer (or whoever) doesn't even have to pay any taxes, or SOCIAL SECURITY.

Someday, Mr. Executive, YOU will be supporting that guy who lost his job to a Mexican.

And, if a few of our politicians have their way, the Mexican who never paid into SS will be given amnesty and able to COLLECT SS, which will also come out of your pocket.

How secure would you feel in your job if all those low wage Americans got educated and competed for your job? Just wait, you will have some kids and a big mortgage someday when your boss hires a 24 y/o grad to do your job at half what he had to pay you.

You are not immune.

Statistically illegal immigrants from Mexico are stealing the low pay jobs. Do some research.

I think people say that with a totally different meaning. They say that the illegals are stealing their jobs because illegals will work for less. Therefore, the jobs will continue to offer low wages. If low wage workers were not there then the employers would have to pay more thus giving jobs back.
