My friend is getting ready to attend law school and is stressed as well. She says she constantly reminds herself of how much it will be worth it in the end. You aren't doing all this work for nothing, and you will have a successful life if you succeed. Think of all the good that will come after you finish. Good luck though!

I am a military air traffic controller and like you I find myself in stressful situations everyday and I love it. Again I like you have to deal with the ramifications of not doing my job well, ie me..people loose their lives you.. peoples lives are ruined. Stress isn't always bad. It's what you do with it that can be bad. For me stress is like a lens, I use it... focus it and let it guide my decisions. I find on a busy day I control aircraft better than a quiet one. Unlike you, I dont have to deal with compitition in my job, everyone has to follow the same rules. I can only assume that "competition amongst students" means how well you argue your case. Well at some point in your life you decided you wanted to be in law and proving a point for the betterment of others is a part of law maybe that could be your lens.. It sounds like you need to have a drink put the books away for one night and get a good nights sleep. Have confidence in your abilities and think in a few years you'll be making alot more money than me.:)

I went by way of the identical factor final 12 months, so here's the deal. I labored my butt off throughout tryouts final 12 months and performed impressive safety, and i attempted to preserve the exceptional offensive avid gamers, that method you draw the coaches concentration, however now you must do a well task a safety. During my basketball season final 12 months there used to be this impressive shooter, however he didn't performed safety which ended in little gambling time. My recommendation: Have trust in your self and don't be timid. Just do your exceptional and take the offensive possibilities you're a given. Make the right alternative of finding out to move in many instances over capturing. KEEP THE HUSTLE UP.

You know, WHEN your off, you should get out of the normal place you live. Go for a drive and look at the fall colors - change your atmosphere - even if it's for a day..... When you're working those kind of hours, it's important to "do the opposite" for a while.... be lame - if it was summer, I'd say go on a boat ride and look at water and view..... You need to "re-create" yourself..... so you will be able to continue ........

My advice? Always do your best and you will feel complete! If you gave it all you have... then you will not doubt yourself. Dont compare yourself to others - leave that to the law firms hiring you!

Exercise can reduce stress, make you feel better by the production of endorphins, and probably improve your mental acuity...

i read alot about looking inward for strength and help. i have always looked outside myself for answers. now i'm learning to look inward, befriend myself and stop beating myself up all the time. keeping a visual image of my face, smiling and happy as often as possible. it has been said that realitly flows out from us, its not happening to us. see good things happening for you in your minds eye, and believe its coming to you. be poistive !
