Well, if you have Stafford loans of Fannie Mae- government funded loans- they can help you consolidate all your loans into one payment a month. Also, if you do not have a job yet and graduated in June, you can get a deferrment - which means they will just charge your account interest until you can start making payments- the time frame of deferrment varies but call AES and give them your loan info and they should help you. Good luck. Oh, one more thing, what was your major? Some employers give loan forgiveness as bonuses to sign you on as an employee- hope you picked a major that will help you. Good luck

You've got to get a job and start making monthly payments. Unless you prepay, this will take ten years.

It is highly advisable to consolidate your loans, as this can not only reduce your monthly payments, but reduce your interest rate as well. Contact the financial aid office of the school from which you graduated. They won't have any money for you, but they'll be glad to help you explore your options.

Besides getting a job. If your parents or some other relative is rich, ask them to loan it to you.

Have you consolidated your student loans into one loan? Instead of it being an adjustable rate, it will be fixed rate. Plus instead of making multiple payments, it will be in one payment.
