She used to tell me she loved me, but said I hurt her too much. So I moved cross country, but we remain the closest of friends. She wants me to visit for Thanksgiving. I tell her I love her and never expect to hear it back. She says she cares very deeply. Do you think she loves me? I don't want to get my hopes up. Besides, I wouldn't know how it would work since we're so far apart geographically. I feel like we are so in sync with each other. She's kind of a loner and says we would argue about things if we were to get together. I think it's petty what she thinks we would fight about. I'm soooo in love with her. I don't know what to do. I just think she's not being straight-forward about her feelings. Please help anyone.

she is being honest with you --- she cares for you and she is afraid you will hurt her again
the best thing is be her friend let her regain trust in you and make sure you dont hurt her badly again
take it slow --- the distance may be a blessing -- if you both care for each other then you wont see anyone else and it will go a long way to showing how much you care

You should really move on, its not enough just to care, you deserve to be loved and live a healthy relationship. Its obvious this girl is not being honest, just giving you the run around. Maybe she doesn't dare to tell you straight forward she doesn't love you and is just waiting you to get tired and quit chasing her. Give her some of the same medicine, maybe if she knows you are dating other girls she will react, but I really doubt she loves you at all. Love yourself , move on, there are really nice girls out there who would truly love you like you deserve. Think about yourself first of all, don't beg or crawl for someone unworthy.

you may have to just give up and break ties now cause you are fighting a losing battle and she don't know how to tell you she may have someone else so don't go for Thanksgiving go to your own family place the more you hang on the more hurt you have good luck

i guess she doesnt have the same feelings like you have for her.. she cares for you maybe a a friend but not as a lover or something.. i guess you just have to move on.

in my opinion, I think she still has feelings for you, if she didn't, she wouldn't care. or maybe she cares about you in just a friend way.
