Okay, so im attempting to use a program that helps me run linux parallel to windows. Its called coLinux. But, whenever i run the .exe it opens the program (its a program that looks similar to the command prompt) and then about 1 second later it automatically closes it!

its making me mad...

how do i stop it from closing automatically?

Run it from the command line and see what it says.

In XP, go to Start->Run, type "cmd" and press OK. And from there CD to the right folder and run your .exe.

This is technically hard to do in Windows XP as the command prompt is set to close when the program closes. But, judging that the program is closing so fast, there is some sort of error and it won't run. My suggestion is just to get some other multiple boot selector. Most Linux distributions come with one that automatically runs on startup, anyways.
