God does not let that happen. Man is the one that is doing this. This is what happens when men begin to interrupt God in mans way. Bringing God down to earth instead of rising to His ideals.

I am sorry that you have lost faith in God, but your question is indeed worthy and we all wonder why. Those that sit on the steps of the church, why are they there, is it possible that they do not want to participate in society by their own doing, not that of God, and yes, money does do a lot, but even if it is thrown at a problem does it reach that problem.

Man would be better off doing than showing, one heals those that are sick, one plants and teaches those to plant, one lives and demonstrates the goodness of God. But man must do this himself.

And you who throw these stones,,,,,what do you do for all your fellow men in the streets, in Africa in the world that have less than you do. Can you give them anything, do you give them even your love, your compassion, what...tell me.

First off, God is true. Second, just because you see this somewhat million dollar house, does not mean that every church pastor is like that. Sure, at my church we donate a lot of money, but it goes to the church, not to the local Country Club. You can't just judge other people by what they drive, you should get to know them. Although first impressions are made in the first 30 seconds you meet or see someone, that doesn't give you the right to judge them by that. My church pastors are also down to Earth, they get God's word out, while being able to support a family. Just remember, don't characterize people by their possessions, because the title you give them may be a little condescending on their part.

If you "lost your faith" because of the behavior of others, then I think you need to rethink the basis of your faith. Understand that the Bible says that "the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil." Just because there are evil people out there who are greedy and claim to be Christians doesn't say that this is what the Bible puts forth as right. You can't find any basis in the scripture for big salaries for pastors. You would actually have trouble arguing for any more than just sustenance pay, if they would receive any pay at all. The apostle Paul in acts had a job to pay his own way. Pastors lose sight of this and give in to greed. They are acting in a way that is contrary to the Bible.

You have a very uneducated view of churches. You also seem uneducated, as you can't spell even simple words. Do not doubt that anyone that uses the name of the Lord for personal gain will pay the price come the judgement. A pastor's job is to teach the way of salvation, and bring as many as will come to Christ. If they have other reasons in their heart, God will punish them for it. Because no matter who you are, you may fool some people, but you don't fool all people, and you NEVER fool God. As for your faith, you speak as if you never had any.

Fact is the Bible warns us against people such as this. That is why it is important to rest on God's truth, the Bible. Feed your soul with God's Word each day and see how it affects your life. I dare you. Then find a Missouri Synod Lutheran church and attend an class on what the church teaches. Then decide for yourself.

I am not saying there are not 'preachers' that use the giving nature of others to make themselves rich. However, David and Solomon both were very well to do in their time; so do not pass judgment on those preachers; let God deal with that.

Jesus our Lord and Saviour also warned us about false prophets who inwardly are ravenous wolves. So yes listen carefully to what a preacher preaches and how he lives out his faith.

THE GOOD YOU DO FOR OTHERS GOD WILL DO FOR YOU EPH6:8 AS YOU SOW SHALL YOU REAP GAL6:7 THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT ONE SHOULD SET HIS GOAL ON HEAVEN ABOVE NOT ON EARTH HERE THE FLESH. IF YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON SERVING THE FLESH, AS SO MANY TV EVANGILISTS ARE, WELL THAT'S SAD. BECAUSE GOD IS NOT IN THEM. I'LL PRAY FOR BOTH OF YOU. TRUTHFULLY IT'S MUCH EASIER TO PRAY FOR YOU.
GOD BLESS

We all have Free Will. God does not meddle in our affairs--our lives and choices are our own--God is not responsible for us--we are.
