Ladies if you think it is inappropiate for guys to call you obscene names if you have on sleazy wear, then why do you wear it? When I say sleazy wear, I mean clothes that are barely there: Short shorts, halter tops, etc. Personally, I think it is wrong. So to keep from getting upset with a guy when I go out, I don't wear those kinds of clothing. I think guys should respect a lady regardless, but when we wear those type of clothing, what do you think the first thing that comes to mind with a guy? What do you really expect when you do wear things like that? Guys are most likely to respect you with clothes on than with clothes showing all your assets. Leave something to the imagination.

People - not only men - who don't know you will respond to the image you project. If you look like a tramp, that's the way you will be treated.
In high school, for a project, a group of us divided into two sub-groups. Four of us dressed neatly and conservatively for a week. The other four dressed like they were working the late shift in some alley. The four of us who had dressed neatly had been treated with much more respect and courtesy - even in small matters as having people stand to let us have a seat on crowded buses - than the others. There was such an OBVIOUS difference in attitude that there is no question that you are, to strangers, what you are wearing and how you appear.

I agree with you on that but, I also say if you got the body....flaunt it girl. Everything can be done with alittle tact! A man should never belittle a woman regardless of the situation. Now, I don't think its wrong for a man to voice his opinion in a respectable manner if his lady's attire isn't acceptable to his pleasing and it is up to the lady to grant his wishes.

Although I think they're kind of asking for it, I think guys should definitly be respectful, regardless. I do know for a fact that the guys I have dated would prefer a girl in a tshirt most of the time to a girl is sleezy clothes.

As far as im concerned if your proud of your body, Why not show it off... But in saying that i agree when u say that ladies shouldnt get offended when guys call them names if they do infact chose to were revealing outfits. However, males should also have respect for women, and refrain from speaking their minds, een though all they are thinking about it how much they would love to rip their clothes off....
So my final conclusion ... If you've got it flaunt it.... but be willing to take on the consequences of male testosterone...

No. Its not ok call anyone a name for any reason. You don't decide what is sleazy and is not. A woman may think she looks nice and not understand that her dress sexually excites men. This is the kind of mentality rapists and pedophiles have - she wanted it.

you earn respect thru postive action, doing the right things, making the right decisions,by being tolerant and understanding not by what you put on when you dress.people have the right to wear what makes them feel good and what they choose.be more aware of peoples intentions and less concerned with what they are wearing.if i witnessed a man behave this way i would get as far away from him as i could and he would instantly lose any potential respect i may have shown him.

I'm probably the only one who thinks it's inappropriate for guys to call you obscene things even if you walk around naked.
It's none of their business what a woman wears....what the heck gives them the right to pass judgment?

I agree with all you say.
A woman should not be abused because of her attire.
By the same token any women with a modicum of self respect wouldn't dress like that in public.
What about all the men who wander around shirtless?

Oh wow, i'm getting them each and all the time. My renowned between the week: "i want to blow my magnificent load on your face." LOL...WTF? adult males...you'll be smarter than that to think of that a woman might quite reply to that. yet while considered one of my contacts pronounced he had to bend me over, i became flattered. So i think you may could be a pal.
