i used frizz ease hair straightening serum, and also garnier fructis sometimes...forget what its called but its in a short fat green bottle...its not very much. I wash my hair then put the frizz ease. sometimes i blowdry it but usually i let it air dry because i can straighten it faster and the blow dryer really dries out my scalp. I have a professional straightening iron, but you can find one from wal mart. Ceramic is best. Some products claim to be ceramic but arent...just look closely...you should be able to tell. try something by conair...i find a medium sized straightening iron (the plates) works best for me...because the too big ones catch my hair and hurt and the too small takes too long.
I have really really REALLY course frizze hair that i have been straightening for well over 10 years. And i have tried a lot of things..this is the only thing that has worked for me and is time efficient. Takes about 30 mins to straighten once my hair is dry.
Also i have had my hair chemically straightened twice..and both times it did absolutely nothing.
Good luck! i hope you find something that works for you!

When you are in the shower leave in your conditioner in for a little while so it can settle in your hair... then when you wash it out and get out of the shower buy some dove straight and smooth and you can use it wet or dry but i use it wet and it is wounderful. it is for dry and frizzy hair! good luck!

John Frieda's Frizz-Ease Products: shampoo, conditioner (leave it in for a while), especially use the serum-it's amazing!

(Just follow the directions on the containers-it's easy!)

I started using Garnier Nutrisse shampoo and conditioner and and anti-frizz mouse. Doesn't make it silky smooth but definately takes away the worst of my frizz.
