According to the Bible in Genesis 1-2, God did his creative work in 6 days then ceased creating. He created the world, the universe, and all that is in them.

God rested from creating Gen.2:2,4; Rev.20:1-6 at the beginning of the 1000 year reign of Christ, all are resurrected from the dead and after the 1000 year reign will end 7,000 years rest from creating 2Pet.3:13; Isa.65:17; 66:1,22,23 and Rev.21:1-5 there will be a new heavens and a new earth, so we are in his rest day, all will be made as perfect as it was before it was LOST in Eden, it is SAVED bu Christ Jesus.
We are in God rest from creating time period.
Heb.4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. Heb.4:5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. Heb.4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Heb.4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. Heb.4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
Heb.4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
Heb.4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Heb.4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. Heb.4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Go to www.mormon.org there should be some answers to your questions there. I believe that He could be, but that He chooses not to. I don't know why, but I do believe it is all for the good. Besides, He does have his own way of creating things. Think of all the inventors. He could have just not let us have more things and still be back at the level of cavemen, but no, He sends inventors for us.

That "someone" is still creating things from a hidden hand. It may seem common, but everytime a baby is born, a seed grows into a sapling, a fish is hatched...it is just another tiny little miracle from god.

simple answer... He is still around 'creating' things...He created us in the physical sense first, and now, whenever we turn to Him for help He is helping to create our Godly way of thinking... and are you trying to imply that God didn/t create perfection when He created man?

This universe is a lot bigger than you make it out to be. The Creator is creating things all the time.

Maybe the someone is entertained watching us flounder... or is elsewhere, creating more interesting things than we've turned out to be. Or is dejected at his/her creations' petty stupidity and has turned his/her back on us all and on creation in general.

He isn't done with us yet. when the earth is perfect and the people are good and it is a paradise then he will start again.
After every day he said and it was very good.
Genesis 2 was gods rest day. The seventh day. We are still in that day.
