OMG, I called and it was awful!!! She made me feel so pitiful and uncared for. It was humiliating. I called in an hour of need hoping desperately to hear a very sympathetic, nurturing voice on the phone, but she was rude, and couldn't care less about me. I couldn't believe it. Then when I said I didn't want to talk about it because I didn't feel she could help me she just said 'OK" didn't try to get me to stay on the line or anything. I felt, if you can't get a caring voice from a suicide hotline where can you get one? It disturbed me and I will never forget that...............Sorry you had that happen too.

yes omg, i have and they are so rude! they don't care! last time i called up i ended up doing something stupid anyway and found myself in the emergency ward for 30 hrs then was transferred to a mental hospital! i'm only 17! god, you'd think they would have been able to help me, not make my attempt suicide!!!

hahahaha the truth is nobody in this world actually cares about anyone
i jumped off a bridge and some cop pulled on my feet when i was already over
then i got beat up by 4 of them haha

No, but I've been thinking of taking up that as a job....and I'll take this as advice lol. I'm sorry they weren't helpful...especially at a time when you really needed someone. I would definitely make a report about it. They should be fired.

there should be caring people on that line, who want to help you.
If the people in charge knew their "counselors" were acting that way, they would not only lose their jobs, but would face criminal prosecution.
