I think that shaving is bad for pubic hair because you can never get it smooth. and it itches and hurts!

so i tried plucking down there. it hurts, but i get smooth results.

is it dangerous?

It's fine to tweeze your pubic hair. I've actually been doing it for about 10 years now. It drastically reduces the possibility of ingrowns, you don't have the discomfort of growth like after shaving, it doesn't hurt after you've been doing it awhile, and NO it doesn't grow back thicker/darker. Sure, you could get waxed, but I don't personally see any point in paying someone $30-$50 to wax my bikini line every 4 weeks when I can just tweeze it myself. And also, because I've been doing this so long, about 50% of the hair in the area I tweeze is permanantly gone because I've damaged the hair follicle.

There really is no need for all that pain! The Seiko Cleancut and Shay trimmer are used by thousands of people around the world to maintain a hairless pubic region.

First you trim away the long hairs with the Shavy trimmer. Then use the Cleancut to shave so close that your skin will be left baby smooth. It doen't nick, cut or burn either.

It is safe to pluck your pubic hair as it is just hair like your eyebrows are. However, it would be less painful to wax it or even to use Nair.

it's not dangerous, but if you don't want the pain of plucking anymore (i know this sounds weird), let your hair down there soak in conditioner for a minute or so, then shave sideways. not with the hair, or against it. shaving that way doesn't cause bumps, ingrown hairs or anything.

Ouchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. My goodness girl. I can hardly pluck my eyebrows and you pluck your poor little pook? Ouch ouch and ouch. Thank-you very much but I'll stick to shaving and yes it's smooth, soft and painless. No itchy for me eee.

no it's not aside from being very painful. its almost like waxing, only one at a time instead of all a patch at a time. try making a appointment for a bikini waxing. it won't take as long, and it lasts for 4-6 weeks.

I'm sure you will be fine but maybe you should try laser hair removal. It hurts but the hair never grows back. I've had my upper lip and under arms done and I am soon to start on my bikini line.
