Ok. Let's say, I have a teenage son, and I tell him not to eat an apple I purchase for $1 mil and he went ahead to do it, I will be very upset and may kick him out. However, I know I will somehow get over it and forgive me son. Also, I will definitely not sue my son and try to get him into ail as I know jail will only change a person, not for the better. Most certainly I won't punish my grand kids if my son have kids.
So why does the God who love us to death throw us onto earth knowing the devil have great influence here, when adam and eve made one mistake? God is ever so forgiving yet he seems to punish us forever for one mistake whereas it would appear we as human being is more forgiving than he is today.
Also, if we never ate the apple from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, how were we suppose to know that we were doing something evil by eating the apple, or by not following ALL of God's word? We don't know the difference between good and evil before that.

That is not really the way it happened, You also missed the part in Genesis where He said He would send His seed to crush the head of the serpent. He sent His son to pardon all our sin. We have the free gift of salvation, greater than any gift we could give anyone! Would you give your son to pay for mankind's sin, no but God did. He gave the perfect sinless sacrifice for our sin. He no longer sees my sin He sees the blood of Christ. He loves the world all right. Read John 3:16-17 Unless you read and study the Bible you should not criticize it!

The answer to your question is that Christianity and the bible are made-up fairy-tales designed to enable a small group of men to control a large population through fear, and promise of reward. The bible is full of outrageous contradictions and advocates behavior that is both immoral and reprehensible. Only an insane person would follow it's teachings literally.

The more you study this madness, the more you will realize that there is nothing in the bible about being a good person that isn't self-evident from just being a human being. It's not all bad, but it's so peppered with nonsense, that you'll go crazy trying to sort out the validity from the idiocy.

If you want to believe in god fine. Just believe in one that that helps you, and makes you happy. That's really the only thing religion is good for anyway, which is why people keep making up new ones to replace the old, defiled ones.

#1 - you can not equate you and your son as equal to God and us. #2 - Adam was given plain and clear instruction as to what NOT to do - which was only one thing - he could do Everything else. He knew what he was doing. #3 - God could have wiped out his creation and started from scratch but chose to make a way of forgiveness and salvation. He will not punish us forever if we take his way of escape - trust in his Son, Jesus. Instead, he offers us an eternity of heaven with all that entails. Adam and Eve could have lived eternally if they had just obeyed the one commandment.

when adam and eve ate of the fruit, it created sin, it make a perfect world a no longer perfect world. if they didnt then someone would, we are not being punished, we are living with the consequences of our sinful nature. God told them not to eat of the tree, and they knew it was wrong to disobey God... also the God who loves did not throw us onto earth, he put us here and gave us free will because he loves us.

Maybe you should go to a church and ask a paster. If you know a church name, check to see if they have a website, and try asking your question there, if you don't want to go face to face. God really is a loving God, and Jesus died for us so that we CAN be forgiven. He made the ultimate sacrafice for us. Read the Bible too. If you don't have one, go to like Wal-Mart or a Christian book store and get one.

You know GOD is on a whole different level of thinking then we are.We couldn't begin to understand what He has in mind for us. All these different religions, none of us has firsthand knowledge of what is to come.Just stop and think of how humans are made, their makeup, dna, reproductive systems. Could you do all that? I know I couldn't.

Lose mans religion and your perception of god will change. The universe is compassionate, mistakes are normal, there is really nothing to fear.

WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT A REAL APPLE .THIS WAS THE TREE OF LIFE.
THE BIBLE TELLS US HOW TO LIVE.
IF WE DON'T READ IT WE ARE STILL ACCOUNTABLE FOR IT.
I HAVE AN OLDER SISTER-SHE IS MEAN,EVIL,MEAN,WICKED,MEAN,EVIL.
SHE WILL STEAL FROM YOU WHILE YOU ARE WATCHING AND CALL YOU A BOLD FACE LIAR ,WHEN YOU CALL HER ON IT.
IF YOU DON'T DO WHAT YOU TELL HER TO DO ,SHE WILL KICK YOUR BUTT.SHE IS IN HER 50'S.
AS A CHILD SHE BEAT ME ALL THE TIME.SHE LIKE TO WATCH ME THROW -UP.
SHE STEALS FROM THE CHURCH.BEATS HER OWN KIDS(I'VE TRIED TO HAVE THEM TAKEN AWAY FROM HER,WHEN THEY WHERE SMALL)
SHE DIDN'T GO TO HER ONLY DAUGHTERS FUNERAL.WHILE OUR MOTHER LAID DIEING SHE YELLED AT HER.
THERE IS TO MUCH TO TELL ALL.
I THINK I COULD SEND HER TO HELL.
GOD FOR GIVE ME.
