What do i need to get for baby that i'm going to be a godmother too she was just born last week.

Christening gown, making sure you give gifts, big or small, doesn't matter, on occasions such as: Valentine's Day, Easter, birthday, Christmas, and any time you see a little something that you think would be appropriate for the baby. As the child grows older, be there for counseling, to have the child lean on you for advise, and treat the child as if it were your own. If you attend church regularly, make sure you take the child along if you live close enough, to be a spiritual guide as well.

a nice outfit would be appropriate but more importantly let the child know that yo are ALWAYS avaiable to help her and to be involved in her life( school plays, girl scouts,etc). Don't wotty too much about gifts, a little something for her birthday and Christmas is nice but your time and love are more important.
I like to have my picture taken with all my godchildren at everyone of their birthdays. some of them are teens and still enjoy that moment with me.
