First, forget all those "la" words - Latin did not have definite or indefinite articles. Best basic translation would be "familia primoris". That is essentially "family foremost". Some of the other words proposed for "first" mean more like first in time or first in counting.

Your two best options are familia prima and familia primoris - prima and primoris both mean first in the sense of rank.

family= familia
first= any of these: primoris, primitus, primo
so it could be: "familia primoris"

family is familia, first is primero then you add la in the biggining to make "the family first"
