I have conversations with my cats all the time (I do voice overs for them)! I even have songs I made up for each using their names . Nobody has ever known this till now! So I guess you're not crazy.

I talk to mine all the time, so...if you're crazy so am I and so are a LOT of folks out here! Mine answer in a way: oldfella bites at my toes and knees, or gets on my lap; baby gives me the 'yeah right' teenager look and the princess comes running to see if I'm eating... Lillian Jackson Braun (writer of the "cat who" series) says that the more you talk to them the more intelligent they become.

Obviously if you were crazy in talking to your cat...there is a lot of us out there...so in actuality that would make you pretty normal. Think of it this way...your poor cat would be bored out of it's mind if you DIDN'T talk to it...you would probably find the poor thing either talking to the wall...or it's cat food...and it wouldn't be catnip making him do it. Have fun!

I talk to mine and I know they understand as they'll follow me to the edroom when I say it's time for bed. If ask if she's hungry she come into the kitchen. If I tell them Mama is tired, they rub on my legs offering comfort. If I ask do you want a treat, they go to the cupboard where cat snacks are kept.

You are not crazy. I talk to my cat. That would be cool if I knew cat language, I could actually communicate with my cat!

No you are definately not crazy! I talk to my cat a lot!! I usually talk to my cat when something has gone wrong. You might be like me and talk to your cat for confert!!

Not at all. :) And the more you talk to your cat, the more she will respond to you with more than "meow". (my cat talks like a Siamese now, and she isnt)

I talk to all of my animals. Cat , dog, and guinea pigs. I used to talk to my fish too when I had them. No they never answered me back either. I just saw them as part of my family and talked to them.
