I want a man who is understanding and strong. I want someone who is not going to try to monopolize my time. Someone that is not looking for a ready made family. A man that wants to concentrate on me.

I have 4 kids. I don't want a guy who is just dating me to be attached to my kids. I don't want him to be so involved in my life that I feel like I am answering to him.

By taking in all of the moments life gives you and waiting for what is to come to come. Make yourself accessable to meeting new people don't rush anything and accept all the disappointments and joys as they come. Be prepared to face the fact that the best man for you may not meet all the wants you have but he must face all the needs.

Love comes when it wants to but you an help it along by going to social gatherings, setting up a profile on a reputable dating site such as www.true.com or even attending services of your particular faith.

Be patient.

While i am sorry for your loss, you really dont make sense. You dont want a man to monopolize your time, yet you want one to concentrate on you. You have 4 kids, but you dont want a man to want a ready made family. With your situation, that is exactly what he will get. I think you just need time for you at this point. You would be what some men would call "high maintenance"

I'm a widow myself---and if that's what you want, then you better have some real good goodies to offer him, because it is nall about you and what you want, but not about what you have to offer in exchange. Luckily, I am of the type who believes that it is equally important to have something to offer a man(I am not talking about materialistic stuff here), so I am widowed, but I am in a happy relationship....
