I purchased the Impact Bag, but I don't understand how it's supposed to work? I read the little flyer it came with but there has to be more to it. I just hit the bag, but what is supposed to happen? What am I supposed to feel? Would appreciate any answers.

It's supposed to stop you from 'flipping' at the ball and casting the club from the top. You should concentrate on hitting the bag square with a slighlty bowed (outward) left wrist.

There isn't really much else to do with it. What it does is allow you to check your positions at impact.....feet, knees, hips, head, and hands. Do it in front of a mirror so you can check these things. When / if you are getting into the correct position at impact, then repeating it over and over will create muscle memory.

It's supposed to teach you not to decelerate into the ball. Kill the bag.
