I know that it is a horrible thing when our soldiers die, however no matter what the death count for us soldiers or even Iraqis we must stay in Iraq, not because Bush or an of us want to, but because we have to! If we left Iraq now, it would get out of control and there would be attacks in the United States and all over the middle east and to all the people out there who think this is a war for oil, just get out a map and look strategically where we are we are in Afghanistan and Iraq two nations that sandwich who other than IRAN! We went into Iraq not only to oust Saddam and give people there a democracy but to move us ever so closer to our real enemy the one that is thretening us, Iran. Iraq is being used for the big war that we ultimately will have to fight and its sad to say but we have to, we cant have maniacs do what they want, and what they want is to kill all people arent Islamic. And one final thing, all of the so called "insurgents" are not coming from Iraq, but they are coming from Syria and Iran, which means that what the media is telling us is a lie saying how Iraqis dont want a democracy when in actuality they do, its the Iranians and Syrian terrorists who dont want a democracy there. All any of you have to do is look where we are positioned and you will come to the realization of what we are doing and dont beleive what you are being told because the media is liberal and liberals dont care about the war they just want to make the Republicans look bad and will do so with any subject they can, people in America just need to look beyond what they are being told.

George Bush ain't killing them folks, except by pure assine, bullheaded stupidity and misguided tactics! Amounts to the same thing I know. But the fact is they are being killed by the people we are fighting and most of them just want us to get out. Of course they will kill each others in droves for awhile. But hey, we came there to make sure there were no WMD, there aren't. Now we are supposed to be fighting Al Queada there. I am sure we are, and I am sure after the present government, the first people the Iraqi's kill will be the "foreign fighters", then they will settle down to a merry little civil war a few years until they get tired of it. We can't stop it. so why are we sitting in the middle?

No one knows why because Mr. Bush refuses to say why. Remember Cindy Sheehan whose son was killed in Iraq? She asked essentially the same question of Mr. Bush when she was in the media spotlight. She asked him openly and publically what it is that her son died for. Mr. Bush refused to give her an answer. So we can only guess. Mr. Bush's stated objective in starting the war was to rid Iraq of it's weapons of mass destruction. Obviously that is not the reason why our troops remain there today. My best guess is that Mr. Bush knows that Iraq will plunge into civil war if we leave, and he believes that that would not be in America's best interest. I believe that Mr. Bush's strong religious convictions are also heavily involved. He feels justified in doing what he is doing because he "knows" that God is on his side for bringing down an evil empire, and he wants to finish the job.

Your question seems delusional in nature, people who stay in the previous show symtoms of being mentally risky or are on the verge of insanity. We had no longer been attacked by jihadist while George Bush became youthful, given the character of the risk immediately, had it been that way while he became youthful, and had George Bush enjoyed this u . s . as lots then as he does immediately, i might think of the respond may be of direction!

The death rate in 1994 for U.S. male civilians between the ages of 19-44 was higher than the U.S. military death rate in Iraq and Afganistan. The civilians death toll is probably still higher.

Why don't you go on over to Iraq and take a peek into one of the many mass graves full of innocent people they keep finding over there and then come back and ask this question.

Strange, I've never seen President Bush kill anyone... and you'd think with the White House Press Pool following him, that they'd get it on tape !!

Iranian, Syrian, Saudi Arabian, and Iraqi fighters/terrorists are killing our soldiers... and don't think it will STOP if we pull out of Iraq.

Don't recall seeing President Bush over in Iraq killing anyone.

Why don't you put the blame on the Iraqi militant that did the killing.
