I couldn't imagine wanting to live with someone who was not a free thinker. I don't care what she looked like.

I'm a Christian, married to an agnostic. We have the BEST marriage. We've been married 13 yrs and have been together for 15 yrs. We have some pretty interesting conversations but I know there's a God because I know I've had divine intervention in my life, because I've tested a couple of the covenants that God has made with us and most importantly, I've felt his powerful presence. My husband doesn't feel that he's ever experienced any of these things.

Actually, yes. When we first got married, I was a Mormon and he was an atheist. Then I spent years studying and searching and he didn't mind. He left my son's religion training up to me since he was an atheist and my son knows as much as I do and he is now an atheist. I'm the only holdout, being a Deist. This year we celebrated our 33rd anniversary. So, I think it's working. We've never made religion an issue.

When I married 25 years ago my husband was Catholic and I was Baptist. We went to both churches a few times then we went to a Bible Church for nine years. My husband then decided we would all go to a Baptist Church, my kids spent most of their lives there and my husband is now a deacon. So it worked out for us, but we ended up in the same religion in the end. The kids need for the whole family to worship together. The Bible tells us to be equally yoked (the same religion). God be with you.

MY ex and I were interfaith, I was Presbyterian and he was Methodist. Neither of us were church goers. Religion was never an issue.
