One time my mom was getting pissed at this place that was constantly calling us so she picked up the phone and said this was the local psych ward, I was cracking up I'm sure the telemarketer heard me laughing.

No but, one time my Mom got so mad because of the same reason except it was this REALLY weird place though!!!

My friend and his teenage daughter sing to them. As soon as they know it's one on the phone, they stand together, receiver between them, and sing. Could be anything, usually old 'harmony' type songs, nothing objectionable or insulting, just long, long songs. They (the telemarketers) usually give up, and two calls is an unusual thing at their house!

Toll Free calls us like five times a day!!!! Its SO annoying!!! We've stopped picking up the phone when its them. We look at the caller ID and say " Oh, its Toll Free. Dont answer!" Anyway, one time my sister picked up and said "Stop calling!" Then she hung up. She sounded really mad. It was funny.

I know this guy that answers them in a creepy voice.
He picks up the phone and says "Helooooooo" (in a high voice that a witch would use)

My dad got a call for an offer to put aluminum siding on his house.
"I have a brick house." my dad told him.
"We can install it over the bricks." said the telemarketer.
"What kind of an idiot puts aluminum siding on a brick house?!?" asked my dad.
The telemarketer hung up on HIM!

I tell them that the one they are calling for has died and would they be interested in sending flowers. They say their sorry and hang up. he he he

seinfeld had this problem he says "well id love to answere them , i love this but i am busy right now but if you give me your phone number i will call you at home".......he then says "well i suppose you dont want strangers calling you at home!!!......WELL NOW YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL!!!!!" and slams the phone down.

I always say, "Do you mind if I take a nap first?". If they continue to talk I make snoring noises until they hang up.
