If it was true love, then maybe you'll never be other that person. My ex and I have been seperated for like 6 months, I only love him more than ever! You can't help who you love. I will always love my ex!

If you ever figure it out, then let me know. My (ex)boyfriend and I stopped dating a year ago and I still love him. Of course I also still work with him. I think the best way is distance from each other. I was away from my job for two months and things were definitely getting better and even starting hanging out with someone while I was away, but then reality happened. I came back to work and all the old feelings came with it. For me, leaving my job is not an option right now, so I'm doing the best I can. I know it helps when I go out with friends, but those outings are few and far in between. Best of luck and you are definitely not alone.

im still trying i honestly believe my ex and i were meant to be and perhaps still are. i would say for now just keep living life and wait to see what happens down the road..do alot of soul searching and reinventing of yourself. think of it as a transition period it will make you stronger..sometimes in relationships each person just needs to grow up and figure things out on their own. i moved two states away and now have a new job thats jump starting my career but even though it still hurts and you think about it constantly you still need to focus on yourself and what you want to do with your life for me its been almost 4 months since my ex and i broke up not that long of a time since we were together almost 7 years. all i can say is hanging out with my family or friends did not help me one bit all that has kept me sane was focusing on myself and showing what i can do on my own...but it still hurts alot and probably always will
