is it just the singer singing or another group of people singing .. and ... another voice (the singing's voice ) sings on top of the "group" of people in the chrous?

Depends on the song and how it was written! In the song Help by The Beatles, Paul and George would sing the chorus then John would sing the line by himself!

Most of the time it is "self harmonizing". Its done in the studio by the artist singing the parts separately then having them edited together. But when On stage back up vocalists are usually hired.

it can either be harmony, back-up singers, vocalists and/or the lead singer just sang over their original recordings
cuz every single chorus in every single song is looped
they record it and replay it over and over thru the song
then the lead singer sings over it
take Michael Jackson for example

it can be many things, back up singers, the singer laid more than one track so it could be blended, it could be a chorus as back up, etc....what does this have to do with skin and body tips?
