The parents..
That is part of the job that a parent signed on for when they decided to have children. Parents need to make sure that their child develops a moral compass so when these kids are raised and out on their own that they know what is appropriate and what isn't. That is part of the problem with today's society. A child starts out innocent and uncorrupted. But they are influenced by everyday activities and decisions made around them and for them. Morals and ethics are something that honestly there needs to be a little more emphasizes on in our society today.

The childs parents...

The parents may choose to use many tools to help instill a certain set of morals... These tools are usually religion and religious beliefs, example, and discussion.. But it is ultimately the parents choice and responsibility to instill in thier the set of morals they wish the child to have..

When the child reaches teenage years and above they will tweak with the morals making them thier own parents need to instill a good core set of morals so when the tweaking begins there is a good core for the child to draw on in deciding what thier moral beliefs will be as adults...

While many teenagers will say they are alone responsible for thier morals, they are wrong if they truly look at thier moral beliefs they will realize thier parents influenced them greatly by instilling a core set of morals they have built on rather than building from scratch..

The one(s) raising them! I have 5 youngins, oldest is 6, twins 4, a 3 yr old, and a 5 mth old, I will instill life value, morals, kindness, self-respect and self-discipline. Respect for others no matter how cruel they maybe. Morals are guidelines to be kind in the sense and not to do anything wrong. Its not a faith thing because many religious church goers sin all the time and ask for forgiveness on Sunday! That just er-ks me! However, it is the person raising the children!

Being 16 i have to say that it really depends. My morals come from myself really, my parents really diddent have a hand in it. There are some kids at school who have been a little too sheltered and parents have forced their morals apon them and they normally just dont understand the real world. The best this is a guiding hand not a forceful one.
