Write your well wishes for your father on a piece of paper. Be very specific. Instead of saying: "I hope Dad's surgery comes out okay." try something like, "Mother Goddess, please guide the surgeon as he fixes my father's shoulder. Help my father's shoulder heal completely and help my father heal himself. Please grant your blessings upon him."
Fold the piece of paper and wrap it in a piece of blue cloth. Carry it with you. Say the prayer throughout the day as needed.
Another option is to write the prayer on a second piece of paper and burn it - symbolic of transforming it from the physical to the mental and spiritual - and thus sending it to the gods.
Also keep in mind that water is a healing element and blue is a healing color.
I'm not Wiccan, but I am Pagan, so hopefully this helped a little. You can change what I've written here to fit your needs, add to it, subtract from it. As long as what you do comes from the heart.

Okay, there are a few things you can do and, unfortunately, none of them involve the wand. But you can use the candles and insense to set the mood if you like.
Here's a good one-
Find a comfortable position. Hold your hands about a foot apart and bring them together till you feel some resistance. This is your energy field. Now see if you can push some energy out of one hand and into the other. Visualize it as a nice warm, healing color. In this way, create for yourself a "ball" of energy. Then, close your eyes and visualize yourself standing there with the ball of energy over your father. Reach out and place the ball of energy over the spot that's hurting and watch it absorb slowly into his body.
Other than that, you can just pray.
If you really want to use your candle, you can put it on your altar and say, "I light this candle for my father ______ that he may be surrounded by blessings and healing energy." Light it, and let it continue to burn for awhile while you meditate on good things. Put it out. Repeat whenever you're in the mood to send him good thoughts.
Sorry, not a Wiccan, but these work better for me.

Christian Wicca is a secret to a super form of. C.W. is an eclectic style of Christianity. people who can no longer evaluate the different teachings different than the Bible are very uncomfortable with this faith. Christian Wicca believes interior the trinity of God the daddy, God the mum (Goddess), and the Son God Jesus. We additionally learn and prepare the concepts of the Bible, Kabbalah, Gnostic Gospels and Wiccan teachings. probable the main mandatory theory of C.W. is their inclusion of the Divine female. fairly, there can't be a beginning without a father AND a mom. We worship the mum Goddess as having equivalent ability in introduction. the mum is modern-day in each and every component of religious teachings, even the Bible. (regardless of the undeniable fact which you're able to desire to look difficult to locate it there.) additionally, there's a distinction between being Christo-pagan and being Christian Wiccan. previously you flow on the air including your checklist, seem up the two and take under consideration the main adjustments. I won't do it here using fact it extremely is going to easily get too long. merely be attentive to that they are distinctive. i'm usually criticized via Christians and Wiccans alike. (greater so Christians. Wiccans tend to be greater open-minded.) i'm hoping I certainly have responded a number of your questions. good luck including your radio checklist....reward!

Wicca *is* multi-diety, but as for affecting things to come you may want to look down the Egyptian path for a more direct connection. I'd assume rather trust the God's judgement, rather than attempt to manipulate their planned future.
Also, something you might find interesting about the horned God in Wicca.
"He is not just a Celtic representation of the God, nor does he solely belong to Wicca, as he has been associated with many deities throughout the world.
Cernunnos, The Celtic God of fertility, animals and the underworld.
Herne The Hunter, a specter of Britain.
Pan the Greek god of the woodlands,
Janus the Roman god of good beings.
Tammuz and Damuzi, the son, lover and consorts to Ishtar and Inanna.
Osiris, the Egyptian Lord of the underworld.
Dionysus, the Greek god of vegetation and vine.
The Green Man, the lord of vegetation and the woodlands. "

Cast a circle. Anoint a candle with oil to represent your father. Light the candle along with two others and some incense. Pray for your dad and envision what you would like to be the outcome. Ask Kwan Yin to protect him. Make an offering of juice and some bread. There you go.

Hon, all that a "spell" really is....is something that helps your "will" to focus. You can "do magic" bare naked in the middle of a desert; the doodads just make it a little EASIER at times to focus an unruly mind....
Try lighting the incense and a candle (or two or whatever), and just focus on "seeing" your dad restored to good health and function. Chant if you like----even "ummmmmm"----or listen to nice music, or breathe evenly....
Will send a little spare energy your way, and here's to a full and complete healing!

For my sister...
I cast a circle.
I made a candle for my sister of purest white mixed with healing herbs. Then I burnt it till it was gone, starting at dusk before her surgery. I can't remember the exact wording I used for the spell, sorry.
Then I closed the circle.
My sister recovered beyond anyones wildest dreams. She should never have been able to walk again. Not only can she walk, she can run. She should never have been able to have children. Yet, we have my nephew.
I'd say I'm pretty positive it worked.

Try these; they're all very simple.

I usually lay hands on the afflicted person, or visualize light blue energy coursing through the scalpel and the part of the body. (I find light blue, and water, very healing.)
