Mexico hires 40,000 guest workers from South America annually. Why? According to Mexico, they do the jobs that Mexicans will not do. Does this sound familiar?

i had chance last June to work with some Mexicans and i found that it is split 50/50 some good workers and some bad just like everybody Else . those that do work are good at it and they obviously came here for a better way of life . these people were trying to learn English and try ed to teach me Spanish . i liked them a lot and got to see it from the other side.this group was great i learned a lot . then there is the other half. to put it nicely they aren't so great ,and it felt as though they are here for the welfare benefits. It does sound similar,but also maybe the USA needs to have the same immigration policy as Mexico. then it would be far.

Yes they say the Mexican workers aren't reliable and are not hard workers.They come from Guatemala I think.

I don't understand why any country would need guest workers. There are out of work and homeless people walking around. Why aren't THEY working?
If they can hold up a sign, they can work.

my family came to this country from England back in the 1800's. I have no problem with anyone who wants to come here to make a better life for themselves, my question is why can't they do it legally. and if the laws make it hard then we have to work to change it. but to allow anyone to break the law is wrong. If we broke the law, jail would be our home. What makes them or anyone who breaks the law any better then me.
