Family is and should be the #1 priority for everyone. If I did not have my wife and kids to provide for, I wouldn't even need my job. My wife has given me the best years of her life (started dating in HS and now married for over 20 years), who am I and what kind of person would I be if I gave up on her and just walked away in her most dire time of need. I would do everything in my power to continue to help and provide for my wife (and kids). If it was beyond my abilities I would find what help I could in family and friends, and hire the necessary people to help me beyond that.

This question everyone should ask themselves before they marry. That sickness and health mumbo jumbo doesn't reveal the whole pix! My entire family is disabled and we can't help each other do anything. We at least have an accurate pix of what they are experiencing! We didn't start off disabled, but slowly, it has overcome us! My grandma was first in 1982. Then my grandpa in 1991. Then me and my mom got diagnosed pretty close together. My grandpa is now passed on, but I am very grateful to the church that built him a wheel chair ramp. It helps all of us --- not have to climb stairs. We are in a wheel chair yet, but we kept it "just in case".

This would really depend on what was wrong and how much help they needed. If I was unable to cope at home then outside help would be needed.
I dont think anyone really knows until it happens though.
If i needed help??? Hmmm not sure , you would think you would ask for it , but again who would know until the time came.

How disabled? My partner & I have talked about it, and if he was quadraplegic I'd help him move on to the flip side.
It totaly depends on the situation. If we could still travel and communicate it would be fine.
