You know, as a gay guy, I'm pretty disgusted by all the bruhaha being made over gay marriage.
No, not by the christians, by the gay organizations.
The whole strategy is fundamentally flawed. They went after a word when what we needed was the rights. Who cares if it gets called marriage or not? We should have gotten the rights in as many states as possible before even caring about the word.
Even better, we should have been fighting to make the government recognize that marriage, straight or gay, is two separate things -- ceremonial and contractual. The ceremonial aspect is the provence of religion. The contractual aspect is the provence of government. I should not be able to walk into the county clerk's office and get a 'marriage license'. Marrige is not the government's business. I should go in to the county clerk's office to get a 'union/joining contract'. It should be up to my religious beliefs to handle the religious aspects -- and the minister's beliefs to choose whether to perform the ceremony or not.
For example, my lover and I go to a baptist minister and ask him to wed us. Rightly so, he laughs in our faces and tells us to get lost. So instead we go to a pagan friend who starts to plan the wedding for us and we have to remind the fruitcake that it's OUR wedding, not his, and that I will indeed be wearing leath... I digress.
When I walk in to the county clerk's office though, and say, "I want a marriage license," the clerk should respond, "I'm sorry, marriage is between you and your faith. Would you like the Union/Joining contract though?"

you know, I find it amusing the way how gay people are fighting for their 'rights' to marry their partner... now, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against gay people... however, a MARRIAGE is between a MAN and a WOMAN... okay, now I probably pissed off a few of you but so what, you get to vent your emotions, so here's mine...has ANYONE ever taken the time to LOOK at a gay couple before? A lesbian goes around stating that she doesn't need a man and how men are this and that, but the FUNNY thing is... a gay couple ALWAYS has a MALE person and a FEMALE person... yep... one of them has more 'male' characteristics and the other has more 'female' characteristics... now, if gay couples really believed in the fact that they don't need the other species, why seek out those characteristics in your partner? and then, if you are going against everything society deems as a couple, then why are you fighting for the right to be recognised as a 'normal' couple? I want all of the gay people out there, who might be reading this to know that I am not gay-bashing and trying to start any fights, I am really dumb-founded about this. I really do not have any hate for you guys... because God teaches to hate the SIN and not the SINNER. So with that note, God bless you all and keep you safe.

No, none of those things have happened ....yet. No, nothing bad has happened ....at least nothing new...just the same liberals insisting on making the same old sin legal now. No, the predictions of fire and brimstone weren't wrong....God will send it in His good time. Will the world end? Sure, when God says enough is enough. He did it before; he'll do it again.

It may not be armageddon but it could be another Sodom and Gomorrah. Remember, God is longsuffering and is not willing that anyone perish in hell's fire. He will give plenty of time for people to come to the truth and repent for their sins before He steps in to put an end to it all. It could be that all states will eventually allow gay marriages. But one day everyone will be judged for what was done in the flesh, whether bad or good.

NJ will modify the code to allow unions, not marriage. This ruling will be appealed of course. The movement to revoke gay marriage in MA continues to grow. I wouldn't start planning your party just yet.

Given you question, put a tin foil hat on your head & hide in the basement until someone tells you it's safe to come out.
