Oh no, what will God do now that the New Jersey Supreme Court has legitimized same sex unions?

Floods, plauges?

perhaps those plagues and whatever are primarily for the purpose of displaying the strength of God and not specifically for the purpose of punishment. First know we do not understand at what point our consciousness leaves our bodies. Look at the flic on scifi called dead like me--- in that the people do not actually experience the last few minutes. I had an experience like that one time but not going there now.

Consider that then add the it the following. Scientists have identified natural causes that accompanied the actual miracle of God knowing in advance they were going to happen and so used these not condemn the few but to save some that would otherwise have died.

Furthermore enter the Biblical statement that in fact God hardened some hearts so that the events would happen in a prescribed time structure which aligned with the motivation for interference which was the prayers of the enslaved group.

there for about the Pharaoh incident with out the interference with God the Jews would have also died as did the son's of the elite who would have died regardless. The slaves escaped where otherwise they would have remained enslaved by the ruling elite. Use your imagination.

you so do not understand God. He does not get bothered by these things cuz in the end He has all the bases covered. Unlike us He has been watching man so long, that mans actions have all been done b4. Do not mix mans interpretation of God with God Himself. It would be like assuming the conduct of some liberals determine what all liberals are like. EXAMPLE: Jesus was a liberal, and those who judge liberals as bad today do not even see that. I know it is confusing and I am sure you are forgiven for these little dalyinces into wisdom and judgement. Be careful you do not want to do what the enemy does. In order to win you must present a more perfect view point and express it in a way that shows you are the better position. In order to do that you must become faultless, or measurably closer to it than the oppostion.

You know, as a gay guy, I'm pretty disgusted by all the bruhaha being made over gay marriage.

No, not by the christians, by the gay organizations.

The whole strategy is fundamentally flawed. They went after a word when what we needed was the rights. Who cares if it gets called marriage or not? We should have gotten the rights in as many states as possible before even caring about the word.

Even better, we should have been fighting to make the government recognize that marriage, straight or gay, is two separate things -- ceremonial and contractual. The ceremonial aspect is the provence of religion. The contractual aspect is the provence of government. I should not be able to walk into the county clerk's office and get a 'marriage license'. Marrige is not the government's business. I should go in to the county clerk's office to get a 'union/joining contract'. It should be up to my religious beliefs to handle the religious aspects -- and the minister's beliefs to choose whether to perform the ceremony or not.

For example, my lover and I go to a baptist minister and ask him to wed us. Rightly so, he laughs in our faces and tells us to get lost. So instead we go to a pagan friend who starts to plan the wedding for us and we have to remind the fruitcake that it's OUR wedding, not his, and that I will indeed be wearing leath... I digress.

When I walk in to the county clerk's office though, and say, "I want a marriage license," the clerk should respond, "I'm sorry, marriage is between you and your faith. Would you like the Union/Joining contract though?"

It's New Jersey, for cryin' out loud! Whatever GOD does, they won't notice the difference. ;-D

I still giggle about something that happened in Orlando, when I lived there. Around 1998, they hung rainbow flags on the city's lightpoles. Pat Robertson said he wouldn't fly those flags in God's face if he was in Orlando, 'cause we're in the way of hurricanes. We didn't get a hurricane that year. Virginia Beach, where his "ministries" are centered, got a huge one.

God has no say in it.
The US supreme court will overrule-like they did in California-and the marriages will be determined illegal; and they will be voided.

Word to J.P.

God wont do anything to New Jersey. New Jersey will do it to themselves.

God doesnt mind same-sex marriages. Only same-sex divorces. Divorce is something god intended only for a man and a woman.

The same thing he did for Massachusetts.. give them a very low divorce rate...

Leave the gays alone, let them get married. they deserve to be as miserable as the rest of us. Besides, they don't breed like rutting weasel immigrants from Cathoholic countries.
