The lady I got my Pug from said that female dogs always make the best pets. She breeds Pugs and Boston Terriers. She knows a lot about dogs and they are also registered with the AKC.

for my family, males. we have never owned a female boston terrier but our male bosty is Buster and he is very relaxed and LOVES playing especially with our mixed breed and our chocolate lab. we have owned a female sharpei and and 2 mixed females and they are very lovable two but as we have noticed our females have been more protective of there food and not very friendly with other dogs when they are eating. we have had this happen with our choc lab and our bosty though. we think they are fighting over alfa male. our bosty is 7 months and our lab is about 10 months old. our mixed breed is neutered and we are finding no problems with him.
