I was told that my great-grandparents, John & Hannah Fernstrom arrived in America somewhere around the Pennsylvania area in the early 1900's. John had a falling out with his family and he and his wife moved to Massachutts shortly after arriving in America. John never made contact with his family again. I am his great-granddaughter (he died before I was born). I'm just curious.

Hey Betteboop,

Here are some sites with Fernstroms. 139 found on Ellis Island records, you should register there and check them out. It is free.

There were over 180 found in the Faimily Search site from the LDS site. This is also free, and has lots of great information, you should poke around there for a while too.

The other thing to do is check your grandparents birth records in Massachusetts, (if that is where they were born).
Hope this helps.
