Why is it that we often fancy people who can be the total opposite of ourselves?? Has anyone ever found this, that they fancy the person who they would never actually be friends with yet theres something that drives us towards them?? Like its strange that even if you don't like someone you can still fancy them?? Its ironic..

Yes. For some reason I like this guy and he is completely opposite from me. I mean, he is wayy outgoing and likes to be a class clown sometimes and I am kinda outgoing but more towards the shy area.. That's a good question.

At one point I wanted to try something different and dated someone so totally out of my ordinary.
Fancy is definitely one good term for my endeavor. It was quite interesting to say the least. We introduced each other to new experiences and did things we probably wouldn't do with anyone else. (i'm not just meaning sexual) I can honestly say I had a time of my life.
We "are" great friends and we get a long wonderfully, but we both know it would never work in an exclusive relationship.
Ironically, we still fancy each other :*)

It is ironic i fell in love with the type of guy i always hated a jock not so smart obsessed with sports i care about academics and suck at sports. we were complete opposites i guess like they always say opposites attract like magnets haha bad saying. and it seems well at least in my case you always want what you can't have maybe it's human nature. sorry for the ramblings i really didn't answer the question or help.

If you wouldn't fancy the opposite characters you could fall in love with girls! they are more similar to you, same with men.this is the natures secret, getting attracted to what you are not yourself.

It's the chase and the mystery. It's the feeling of 'maybe' and 'what if'. Ultimately, it's looking at them and seeing everything that we're not, everything that we have been warned about and advised against....and still, wanting to shag them until manana brings night!
