In the sixties, hippies made a drink called Purple Jesus. 1 quart of pure grain alchohol, (moonshine) and 2 quarts grape juice. It would not be advised with cough suppresant as it is very potent.

You can also use Razzmataz (raspberry schnapps) but it tends to be a bit more brown in color.
