All piercings hurt. It depends on to what extent. Everyone is different, so I can only speak for myself.

My nipple piercings didn't hurt (vertical and horizontal were rather painless. Though the left vert did hurt a bit more than the others)
However, the painful part is healing and making sure you don't get an infection. You have to be so aware of your nipples that its ridiculous. Things like seat belts, shirts, hugs are all things that will hurt when the brush against the area and can pull on the piercing. I love mine and have never had a huge problem, but you have to be careful.

My daughter is a piercer at a tattoo save. Nipple piercings flow by a super form of flesh and it will injury. yet, like with the different piercings it passes extremely on the instant as quickly because it extremely is executed. Your commercial probable became a strategies worse than what a nipple piercing could be.

I've never done this, but I know nipples are sensitive. I'm sure it would hurt a great deal. With all due respect, why do you want to mutilate yourself and cause yourself pain? Why risk the infection?

Hell ya!
Did it once, spur of the moment, was drinking at a bar with a piercing studio next door. It seemed like a fun idea at the time. It hurt like hell. Like a dagger was being driven into my pectoral muscle. Kept it for about 6 months, damn thing kept getting caught on my shirts. Its a very bad idea unless you like that sort of pain or show.

hey!
i have vertical bars and horizontal bars in my nipples!
and to be honest i would not say that they hurt, when the needle goes through it is a sharp, burning pain that brings tears to your eyes... then that is it!
if you are sure you want it go for it - i mean of course there is going to be some degree of discomfort - you are forcing a needle through your flesh!!
when they are healing you NEED to wear loose clothes and make sure they are not likely to get tugged (i would say any hard nipple play during sex is out for a few months)
mine are all fine and nice, and have never caused me any issues at all
GOOD LUCK!

Not bad at all. I have both done. It was a piece of cake. However, I am a girl and I am told that it apparently hurts far worse for a guy than it does for a girl. So I don't know...good luck I guess!

my boyfriend whined about it for hours afterward. my advice? when you get it done, wear a loose shirt so that there isn't un-needed stress on the new piercing. most piercings come with some pain, but if you really want it, you won't remember the pain later.

Its really weird but my right one hurt more than my left but the pain on both sides was quite tolerable.
I'd venture how much it hurts depends on you and your piercer.
