Asian hair tends to be thicker and straight. My hair is very thick and very straight as a guy it is hard to find the right product that holds up. Usually the longer it gets the hard to style. Anybody out there know of a good product that they use?

There is this product by Aveda for people with thick hair. It's pretty expensive, but well worth the money. My hair is more manageable now than it's ever been. This lady that I know who is Chinese owns a spa/salon that sales Aveda. She looked at my hair one day and said "you have Asian hair!" because it's much like Asian peoples' hair.... I'm mixed with black and white and Asian..... and she gave me these products to use. They are great! And they don't smell sweet and girly, just fresh and clean. I can't think of the name off hand, but ask them for Aveda products and ask an Asian person that works there, they'll be sure to find the stuff for you!

Hope this helps! :-)

I don't think the product is the problem. The haircut can make or brake a good hairstyle look. Thick and straight is hard to manage but, with the right cut/style, you can look great. You need to find a good hair dresser/stylist with this skill.....good luck..... ;)

First of all, If you want to keep length, just go to the barbers and ask to get it thinned out. That will keep the length and it will still be managable. Then use a styling glue. Like ICE Spiker.

Trim it real short on the sides/back, tapered up, medium on the top and use styling gel...Asian hair doesn't look good longish or long...
