I've been single for nearly 25 years (I'm 48) and like it okay. I would love to find the right person but there are a lot of things worse than being single. I know so many people in bad relationships and I'd rather be single than in their situation.

I'd love to get married but on a scale of one to ten, I'd give being single a "7". Its okay.

I'd rate it a 7. I am very independent, and that was definitely a factor in my divorce, along with a lot of other mutual problems between us. I miss being with someone and having a great physical connection, but I love having the freedom to do what I want to do.

i've got been single for almost a year, it extremely is the 1st time in 6 years regardless of a pair months in between 2 relationships. I savor it using fact i'm no longer tied down. optimistically sometime i will locate somebody who needs to be with me, yet no longer tie me down.

5...it's about in the middle.

ups:
-I like that I can flirt with anyone I want
-No one is there to question who my friends are
-I don't have to explain my notes and emails
-I don't feel guilty for liking someone else
-I can't have my heartbroken again

downs:
-I'm lonely
-I want a relationship
-I'm still in love with the person that obviously doesn't love me and it sux
-All of my friends have b/f's and g/f's but I don't

*The biggest issue, for me, is that, I can't win either way. If I'm single, I'm miserable. But if I'm in a relationship, I'm risking getting hurt all over again and I don't wanna be hurt again.
