as far as i know, a perm will make it curly. so don't ask for that. if you really want straight hair, there are ways to do it chemically. ask your hairdresser.

Well if you really want striaght hair then i say you get a perm. It might look very good if you do. When i got a perm i was very happy because i did not have to deal with all of the knotted hair and stuff. It was very striaght and silky. But it is your decision
GOOD LUCK!!!

No a perm is to get your hair curly! A relaxer is to get it straight.

work with what you were given. if you have thick and curly hair, why would you go and mess it up with chemical relaxers that are only temporary and damage your hair. go to the salon and get a cut and style that will tone down you curls and give you a lighter feel.

I HAVE HAIR JUST LIKE YOURS B/C IM MIXED UP WITH A LOT...DON'T DO IT, (PERM OR RELAXER)!!!!! YOUR HAIR IS PROBABLY THE KIND PPL GO TO THE BEAUTY SUPPLY FOR AND BUY. YOU WANT IT STR8, FIND A SALON THAT PRESSES HAIR AND DO IT LIKE THAT MAN, DONT MESS UP ALL YOUR PRETTY HAIR
