The constant bickering of duality in our mind never allows us to fully become aware of our powers, which can be found in silence.

I don't fully agree, but it is touchy ground. Have you ever had a thought go through your head that was absolutely random or dissheartening. Spiritual teachings make a claim at a devil figure, that gives some thought or suggestions to you. You then have to work your way around that thought or suggestion, counter it, or submit to it. Your actual mind is not the enemy, but there are possible thoughts that aren't your own that you would want to fight like it is your enemy. That is about the only way to explain it other than a snide comment.

It is what you do with it that makes it work for or against you. Or it is how you think. If you did not think, you couldn't ask the religious question that brought you to teachings in the first place.

Kinda. If you are thinking on a natural level, and you try to understand the things of God, you're gonna fall short. If you try to think you know all, and do things your way, you're also going to fail. Trusting in your mind is dangerous.

However, if your mind is on God, and you are thinking with Him, then you won't be disappointed.
