Go to www.boxrec.com to get computer rankings. In my opinion the heavyweight champion in boxing is no more important than in wrestling, your sport. Boxers have to promote themselves these days. If I were managing a boxer I would ignore the title. The days of getting in the ring and winning fights, then allowing the boxing federations to promote your fights, are over. Modern medicine and four titles are allowing older fighters to hang around too long. The thing to do these days is to avoid competition that has a chance. That is to say, don't fight fighters that can beat you, and only fight for good purses. If you don't get a good purse, and you think that an opponent has a chance to win, don't get in the ring with them. Winning a title doesn't mean anything anymore. Fighters are going to have to promote their matches the way wrestlers have for decades.

Since this is boxing, curently there are 4 heavyweigth belts. All four belong to four fighters from or around Russia. They are Klitchko(not impressive for having a glass jaw), maskaev (not impressive for having a big physique), nikolay valuev ( not impressive for being 7 ft. tall) and some young kid who looks promising. However, their is no absolute Heavy weith champ like there once was in Tyson, Ali and so forth.

Noone is! Heavyweight boxing has gone so far down hill it saddens me!
All the belt holders nowdays would never have had a chance against Lewis, Hollyfield etc
Even a after prison Tyson could have delt with them easily!.... I miss the good days!

Its obviously Wlad. He is the most dominant fighter now and has a very impressive resume (gold medalist, wins over skilled opponents)

PS. ANyone who says the heavyweight division is dead is just angry that Eastern European fighters are demolishing american heavyweights.

good question, nobody, meaning they all suck.

there are no undisputed or any clear dominant fighters in both weight classes.

if i had to pick:

Heavyweight > Wladimir Klitschko

Light Heavyweight > Tomasz Adamek
