I'm 31 years old and my wife is 24. We have 4 children with twins. Have been married for 6 yrs.

My wife has 3 sisters and a brother. One of the sisters and brother are married. My other two sister in laws are 17 & 15 yrs and they have been living with us for the past six years.
I treat my two sister in laws as my own daughters and they call me dad and I'm fine with that. My wife's parents died when they were 3 & 5 yrs. They've been living with us for 6 yrs and they have called me dad all this time. My wife's happy about it and says I'm great.

I treat them like my own daughters from my heart and have done everything to them including all expenses. I've bought two houses for them, for their marriage. They say that I am like their own dad and kiss me.When I married they were 9 & 11 and from then they have been kissing me Is it okay for them to kiss me in a FATHER DAUGHTER WAY ONLY on the cheek and calling me dad? My wife says she's happy when they kiss me and treat me like a dad

I think it's great that you think of and treat your sisters-in-law as your daughters. And they obviously have enough trust in you to know you won't do anything inappropriately when they kiss you. However, the way things are these days with abuse and such, I can understand your concern and why you're asking this question. From what you've said, though, I think you're a great father figure to them, and they're lucky to have you in their lives.

I really don't understand your question...However, if you are asking the question if it's right to be kissing your daughter/ sister-in-law on the cheek. The answer is there's nothing wrong with it. You're not patting them on the butt or rubbing against them, are you? You've been raising them since they were little girls. However, there must be some type of thought(s) going through your mind (my opinion) because you wouldn't be asking this question.

If that's not the case. In which I have to question. They are like your own children, you have seen they grow, and they are part of your family.

But I do have to ask the question why are you asking this question.

I don't see a problem if it's a father-daughter way. But I think you might want something more if you're thinking that it's wrong. If you really are like a dad to them, there's nothing wrong with them calling you that. With all the absent fathers now, you're a great man for treating them so nicely. <3

Showing affection for someone you love by kissing them on the cheek and hugging them, is perfectly fine. As long as it's not in an inappropriate way, then don't worry about it.

Of course, you have been the father figure. You have earned the title. Not too many men would have stuck around through all of that. Nice to know that there are some good men out there.

It's perfectly ok, unless you are beginning to see them in another way as your own daughters, but if not, nothing to worry about, only worry about them becoming teen girls and how crazy it is going to get with boys and party's and going out, that's what you should worry about.

Sure why not? It isn't like your trying to tongue kiss em or anything. I don't see anything wrong with that. Props to you for being a father to them when they needed it most.
