I have 2 recipes for you. Your "dirt clump" made me laugh because I just came across a recipe for "Gourmet Reindeer Poop" at the back of a romance novel which I think you could probably adapt into your Dirt Clump. The second recipe should work too with some addition of chocolate or cocoa.

RECIPE #1

Gourmet Reindeer Poop

Mix 1/2 cup butter, 2 cups granulated sugar, 1/2 cup milk and 2 tsp cocoa together in large saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup peanut butter, 3 cups oatmeal (not instant) and 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional). Drop by teaspoon full (smaller or larger as desired) onto wax paper and let harden. They will set in about 30 to 60 minutes. These will keep for several days without refrigeration, 2 weeks refrigerated, or 2-3 months frozen.

RECIPE #2

Gummy Worms Marshmallow Bars (like Rice Krispy Treats)

32 large marshmallows or 3 c. miniature marshmallows
1/4 c. margarine or butter
1/2 t. vanilla
1 c. gummy worms, mostly red and green colored (cut in half if desired)
5 c. crispy corn puffs, toasted oat or rice cereal

Heat marshmallows and margarine in a 3-qt. saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly to melt the mixture until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Stir in half of the cereal and half of the gummy worms at a time until mixture is evenly distributed. Press the mixture into a buttered 9 x 9" square pan. Cool mixture in pan, then cut into bars.

It is the regular rice krispies recipe and press it into a buttered cake pan.Cover the top of the rice crispies with broken and ground oreo cookies for dirt. Then put the worms around on top. You can also put a ghost or tombstone, etc on it for decorations. You can also add choc to the rice crispies by mixing cocoa with the butter. You can also bake a choc cake in a clay flower pot that you line with foil. then add the oreo crumbs and worms. Stick a flower or Halloween decor on top. Best wishes!

I don't have that exact recipe, but it reminds me of one called Dirt Pudding. My recipe is in strorage, for a while, but here's one a friend recenlty gave me-DIRT PUDDING
2 quart flower pot
Shovel
Artificial flowers
1 bag Oreo cookies *SEE NOTE
1/4 cup butter or margarine
8 ounce package cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
2-3 packages instant French vanilla pudding
3-1/2 cups milk
12 ounces Cool Whip
Gummy worms
*NOTE: Discard centers of Oreos, crush in a blender, several at a time. Put aside.

1. Beat 1/4 cup butter or margarine, 8oz package of cream cheese and 1 cup powdered sugar. Put aside.

2. Mix 2 or 3 packages of Instant French Vanilla Pudding with 3 and 1/2 cups of milk. Add 12 oz cool whip.

3. Combine #1 with #2.

4. Layer oreo crunbs then pudding mixture ending with oreos (dirt!) Place 3 or 4 gummy worm candies around the dirt. Wrap flower stens in aluminum foil and stick in dirt. Chill. Serve with shovel.

Can make individual servings.

**This recipe can be made kosher by substituting the Oreos with a kosher chocolate sandwich cookie.

You could try using rice Krispies, in stead of the cookies. Let me know, how it turns out, that way.

Just look on the back of any rice krispies box and just add some more marshmallows and chocolate to it when you add gummy worms.

I don't have that one, but you can crumble Oreos, mix in the gummy worms and add chocolate sauce. Serve in small pails.
