i know that the secularist vs. christian debate is hard and emotional but, to an extent, can't we set theological arguments aside and just look out for our fellow man and try to make sure that we do our part so that no one is left to rot and die. Jesus said that whatever you do for the least of his brothers we do for Jesus himself. If someone was to sincerely care about his fellow man, yet not believe in the actual existence of god, can't we finally just stop trying to tell those kind of people that they are "lost in satan's lies" and "going to hell?"

Think about it........if christians would spend less time condemning secular humanism and raising hell when department stores have banners that say "happy holidays" instead of "merry christmas,"
then they would have more time to do god's true commandment, loving your brother as your self.

I agree wholeheartedlly. I think that a Christian's most powerfull weapon is love. How that love is displayed is a different question.

You call for a truce but launch into a tirade of bigotry? Not all Christians are as you paint them here.

Stop doing that and you might be able to get along with people.

I don't condemn anyone. Never have. Never will. I see a handfull of nuts on BOTH sides of the coin. Most "seculars" here are only here to jab the Christians. So why do you not expect a response?

You tell us to stop telling you what to do while you tell US what to do?

silly silly boy.

The only thing I would change about what you said is to preface all "Christians" with SOME Christians. All are not that way, and to generalize is also not doing for the least of your brothers.

AMEN.

I won't condemn anyone, but I will state what I believe, and I will tell people when they are wrong, and I will point them toward Christ and tell them that it's their only hope.

True, we shouldn't be mean to the unbeliever, but we shouldn't be quiet about the truth, either.

I am with you 150%.

Ever since 9/11 religious differences have been like a nuclear bomb with some people.

It was never like this....we have let the terrorists win because they have torn us apart.

Why can't you people understand that what Jesus alledgedly said makes no difference to ethical, moral and rational people?

How loving is it to smile and agree with a person who you know is dying of cancer? Isn't it more loving to tell him so he can get it fixed?
