I got this program called: The Paint Shop Ensemble 3 i got from work, but when I try and install it, I get this error message: C:\WINDOWS\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS - DOS and Microsoft Windows Applications.
After getting that message, I tried it on my laptop and it installed. Both computers are Windows XP.

do you mean, "The Print Shop Ensemble 3"?
If so, that program was built for Windows 95/98. It was not built for XP.

Your computer is too new to be able to run MSDOS applications. I'm not sure, but try searching google for something like "run DOS on your XP"
