So my brother is home from collage for a few weeks and buys some yogurt. It's low fat/carb whatever diet stuff. I didn't know it was his and ate 2. He comes home from work and frickin kicks me. I said sorry and that I'd replace it. He kicks me again. (This happened before with cream cheese.) How the heck was I supposed to know it was his? I said to him that maybe he should label his food because this happened before. He screams at me and tries to choke me screaming in my face to stop acting all defiant and feel bad and that I didn't apologize. My mom just comes out of nowhere hits him with a wooden spoon. Can anyone tell me what to do?????? please

Wow what an as s your brother is. I know college is stressfull and he may not want to come home sometimes, but he is definitely being a baby. That's really not right for him to kick you. Brothers and sisters fight I know, but over yogurt? Guys are soo stupid when they get mad-and for no reason. Don't kick him back, he'll probably hurt you worse (well i dont really know you or your brother if he'd really do that). You should tell him when he's not all worked up that you don't appreciate him treating you like crap. Tell him you didn't know and that you were hungry too. Like you said before, just tell him again you'll go buy more for him, unless he just wants the money for it. Make sure you don't yell at him, try to be calm and reasonable. Maybe you could tell him to put his food on one side of the fridge or in a drawer, so that way you know not to eat it anymore. Tell him he has no right to kick you or even get mad at you b/c you live there too and have every right to eat whatever food you want, unless knowingly that something is his. Tell him if you knew than you wouldn't have ate it.

It sounds like your brother is stressed out from school and working, and your eating his yogurt was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Not only should you replace his food and only eat those things that were in the refrigerator before he came home, but also sign him up for anger management classes.

just leave him be for a bit as he propb thinks the world should revolve round him as he is just back from college and then tomorrow go buy him some more and give them to him and try saying sorry again. dont make a promise if you have no intentions of keeping it.
ut on the other hand if you dont get on with him ever dont buy him any cuz he shouldnt have treated you the way he did.

sounds like a few members of your family need anger management classes. explain to your brother that you are sorry, that you didn't know it was his, that you will replace it, and in the future he should label his food. any normal person would do this if they don't live there on a permanent basis. if that doesn't help, call the cops.

Your brother should stop and get some sort of punnishment or something and your mom was right to hit him with a wooden spoon!

He shouldn't be treating you this way! Ask your mom to label your food so you know what to eat!

If you can't talk to him talk to your parents about what's going on. Sounds like he is insecure and has a bad attitude.
