Yes I do it for movies.
You have to go to Control Panel and make your TV the defailt monitor.
Click on Display
then on Settings
Choose Advanced
then use the Display tab
then click on the TV

That's why that output actually is there. You can connect anything that got s/video in/out. ie. capture video camera recordings to your PC

Yes, its likely you can, but the resolution on televisions is very low. So it's likely it won't look very good.

if you have s video out on your video card and s video in on you tv you can use tv for moniter
