I have had rsd since I was nine. It started in my right ankle. Now i'm hypersensitive everywhere, and even a bump in the hallway can be killer. The only thing is its not purple like my leg is, and I can tolerate some touch, so I was told it could be Fibromyalgia. I'm also always tired, no matter how much sleep I get.

Becca, I answered your other question about RSD and it really sounds like you do have RSD. I don't think you have Fibromyalgia, but sometimes RSDer's do have some fibro symptoms. Check out the website I told you about and you can get a lot of answers there.

what is RSD?

quantity of sleep is nowhere near as important as quality of sleep - no deep sleep means all sorts of symptoms, including hypersensitivity & pain.

there is also hypersensitivity syndrome, which involves all the senses, but without knowing what RSD is, i hesitate to continue... ? i would love to know more, though.
