If you are getting married in february...there's a couple things you can do. You can have it be a valentines themed...with pinks and/or reds...but it's still technically winter, so I'd say keep it pastels like pastel blue or green...or if it's a night wedding dark blue or red

Red...discounts like CRAZY on red things and they are all over the place. Decorating is so much easier. I dont recommend roses though...they jack the prcies up in February on roses. Stick with red and white carnations or things like that.

Only because I've done a wedding, plum because it means good fortune. Warm colors like red, yellow, orange, pink, brown, and burgundy excite emotions and heightens motivation. And then there are colors to match your zodiac.

I got married in December and used 2 non-metallic shades of silver, one light platinum and one darker, like pewter. THe girls wore the same dress in different colors. It looked really elegant, and we got lots of compliments on it, and decor was really easy to find.

I would recommend chocolate with pinks & reds. As appetizers/treats you could have chocolate covered cherries (stems still on makes them super cute) and chocolate covered strawberries.
