If you just got contacts than that is normal, or a new type of contacts. You could have allergy on the contacts
Pink is when you wake one morning and you white or a lot of discharge in your eyes. Maybe you a feeling a little crazy today and are experiencing a mental type of thing[not to be mean] this is a normal reaction.
Allergy is when something like someone is mowing the lawn and your eyes allergic you need to get Claratin or over the counter Nasonex.
Irritated eye I pink, allergy, colds if bothers eye it is all irritated.
Does that answer your question? [ again not to be mean]

Your eye will be sticky with a yellow mucus discharge, especially in the morning after you wake up, to the point of being stuck closed. Your eye will be red, swollen, painful, and most of all, ITCHY! It will usually hurt to move your eye around too. If you DO have pink eye, you should never wear your contacts until your doctor tells you the infection is gone. The contacts can actually trap the infection underneath the contact. You can develop ulcers on your eye because of this, and your vision can be affected.

With pink eye or conjunctivitis it is common to have a thick gooey mucus that comes out of the eye and at night will become crusty and close your eye shut. Also you eye will be very red around the eye and also inside. Typically if you keep your hands clean and do not touch your eyes it will get better within a few days but you may need special drops for this. Also you can try taking a warm damp cloth with no soap or other washes on it and try wetting the inside of your eye to cleanse the eye out. Good Luck!

Usually if you have pink eye there is discharge that comes out of your eye. If you wake up and your eye is all crusted over thats a pretty good sign. You could just need new contacts or need to clean them really well. Have you ever used enzymatic cleaner before? This helps remove the protein that has built up on your contacts over time. If it still bothers you you may need to go see an optometrist or a doctor. Hope this helps.

Take your contacts out and wear glasses for a bit. If you don't have pink eye, it will clear up by itself. If you wake up with a crusty eye, it is pink and irritated, you need to see a doc. This can ruin your vision. It is very infectious, and you will certainly get it in the other eye, and you probably won't be able to wear the contacts for a few weeks.

Go see your health practitioner or eye health practitioner. ASAP! Also do not contact them and contact some thing else with out washing your fingers. Pink Eye is VERY, VERY contagious. After you move to the health practitioner and get meds., make certain that you simply wash some thing that your face has touched in view that you got here down with it. Bed sheets, pillowcase, wash fabric and towel. Spray your sofa, automobile headrest with some thing that's antibacterial/antimicrobial. That will kill any sort of micro organism that's on some thing that you have touched and can preserve from you or any individual that you have are available touch with from getting it.

Pinkeye is a symptom not a diagnosis. Having pinkeye just means your eye is "pink" which could be the result of anything, allergy, irritation, injury, virus or bacteria. If you also have discharge you need to see your doctor.
